Just an idea but perhaps we would make this a sticky, if everyone on the forums with experience buying aftermarket wheels and tires for their R56 can chime in and donate some info.

I am going to be purchasing my Mini in the relatively near future and was looking online for many aftermarket parts, however finding good info on wheels and tires was quite difficult. Many things people should know about buying wheels and tires, and many of the following I do not yet know:

Bolt pattern?
Maximum rim width and required offset to pull it off? (also how wide of a tire can we get away with).
Stock tire sizes, and weights?
Stock wheel size, offset and weights?

Try here for the info you ar looking for budgy. Believe that bolt patterns etc are the same on all generations.
