Offline | Go to FAQ section. There is a bit just on all the info (with pics) of the MINI wheels and tyres. MINI offset range between ET45 and ET52 normally. Most are ET45 I believe both R53 and R56 are similar in the offsets they can run. There are people on here (like me running 17"x7" (standard size) aftermarket wheels on much bigger offsets, even as big as ET30. I run ET45 at the moment but soon to be ET29 due to spacers...I don't know of anyone having issue with scrubbing on 17" ... once you go to 18s you have to be more careful but I ran 18x7.5s with 215 tyres and lowered suspention (-35mm KW) with no scrubbing on ET45 for a while. |

Offline | Wheel diameter isn't what counts ... its tire size, wheel width and offset. Given the same wheel width and offset, 215 width tires on 17 inch wheels will be more likely to rub than 215 width tires on 18 inch wheels. |

Offline | Oh and the MINI hub is 56.1 ... MINI wheels don't need a spiggot ring and each manufacturer of aftermarket wheels uses different sizes so its difficult to say what you need....however a lot seem to use a 73mm hub |
