Question Best runflat option?

Can anybody give me an opinion about the best possible replacement out there for my Eagle NCT-5's? (which tire, life, grip, ride quality)

I'm looking for a better runflat option than the ones I have, which I'm about to change due to tread-wear. I need the 195-55-R16 size and I'm thinking of getting some 2nd gen although if someone recommends a 1st gen it's OK.

I've been reading some reviews @ the TireRack but everyone just seems to hate runflats (I do also, horrible grip but I like the system and not having to worry about a puncture, so I think I'll be keeping them)

Thanks a lot for your feedback!!!

How wide is the hall-way, Napster?

I have not had experience of non-run flats on my mini.... but from all I've read I think I will be swapping to normal tyres as soon as mine are worn out.

Black Cooper

I've got Dunlop SP Sport 9000 DSST run flats - although they're 17" so not quite the same, and they're far better than the 16" Goodyear NCT5's on my previous MINI.

I would definitely recommend the Dunlop's over Goodyear.
