| Flying Finn | Front/rear pics of 17" Ultraleggeras ET37 Hi all, Does anybody happen to have a picture of a (preferably lowered) MCS with 17" Ultraleggeras with offset ET37 from either rear or front side of the car? (oh, and if they would be fitted with wider 215 profile tires all the better ![]() )I.e. similar pic as the attachment (Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2. I believe). I would simply like to see how much the wheels stick out with this off-set. Haven't spent any money on my car for several mont...well, make that weeks, and it starts to burn in my pockets. The money, that is. ![]() Cheers...and thanks a bunch! Sam |

| dyno-mite, might not.... | will get a lowered pic weekend for you, IMHO found 30mm too low with et 37 215/40/17 [not oz but close] fine for fronts, rubbing/harsh 4 up in rear, would go 20mm or adj coil overs second time around, or change to higher et for rear? ie mixed set no stick out issue when fitted but but BBK changed all that for me AL ![]() carefree |

Offline | are you changing your wheels ? im looking at getting the Enkei wheels copied my post: Enkei RPF1 Race Silver 17x7 at 6.5kgs each, you can order a cap with the wheel so what do you think ??? I searched a lot of forums in the states and loads of people have this wheel and say its great very light etc and the quality is amazing, they are made in Japan: What do you think these or the OZ ??? Enkei Alloy Wheels - Performance Alloys.com The full range of Enkei Alloy Wheels, Enkei Wheels, Enkei, Enkei GTC01, Enkei ![]() I think they would look great and help keep the weight down ? | Flying Finn | Thanks for your inputs! ![]() Yup, have been thinking about changing my wheels. Currently running ET40 OZ Superturismo GTs which I find (purely by looks) near perfect in terms of offset...but still would like to get something lighter. Reason why I am asking is that Fabio was not 100% pleased with his ET37 black Ultraleggeras: http://www.mini2.com/forum/john-coop...aleggeras.html However, the piccies he posted did not really show his car from this angle...and he did have to trip the rear arches too because of rubbing. Btw the pic I originally posted is from Lohen's nice looking demo car. It has ET45 black Pro Race 1.2 with apparently 5mm spacers on the front (i.e. ET40 front, ET45 rear). So OZ, a set of these beauties in ET 40 please...? (ET44 sits too far inside IMHO) |

| Flying Finn | It does not look like it would be sticking out - assuming that you have this combo in the pic you posted. I wonder how this mixed set would affect handling? I feel that my rear is sitting exactly 10mm too low or so. Looks lower than front...it really seems to vary from car to car how much the "30mm" springs really lower the car. |

Offline | I saw Rolands car a fortnight ago, all it had was a 5mm (maybe a tiny bit more) at the front. Also saw Bhozar's car (same Wheels and brakes), that defo didn't have any silly offsets. ![]() |

| dyno-mite, might not.... | i cant see a mixed set being anything other than improvement, quite a few people recommend spacers for front to give a wider track anyway, by using differing et to rear you will be saving cost of a spacer, i have silly spacers on the front at the moment, and have no adverse affect day to day driving, not been to a track yet to find limits ![]() on the other hand i know what you mean about a lower rear, cosmetic i know, but a narrow rear track might even make this look worse? just something else to consider. ![]() carefree |

| MINI2 Senior | My OZ Ultraleggeras are still wrapped up in cardboard and still sitting in my garage !They are 17" ET37 c/w 215/40's on them..........I'm hoping that they don't rub on my arches as I have the Eibach -20mm springs but reading other posts it shouldn't be a problem. Vroooom Vroooom |
