Offline | 17" Enkei wheel for a Mini at 6.5kgs !!! Hi Guys, I have been looking for some light wheels for my Mini, i was about to buy the OZ Ultraleggera but this new Enkei Wheel is the same size and is over 1kgs lighter !!! Enkei RPF1 Race Silver 17x7 at 6.5kgs each, you can order a cap with the wheel so what do you think ??? I searched a lot of forums in the states and loads of people have this wheel and say its great very light etc and the quality is amazing, they are made in Japan: What do you think these or the OZ ??? Enkei Alloy Wheels - Performance Alloys.com The full range of Enkei Alloy Wheels, Enkei Wheels, Enkei, Enkei GTC01, Enkei ![]() I think they would look great and help keep the weight down ? | MINI2 Senior | OZ all the way - I had a set of these Enkeis on my car. Within a few months they were all buckled Soft alloy and roads that are bumpier than Japanese roads = unhappiness Cheers, Henry Last edited by MINIAC : Oct 10th, 2007 at 06:38 PM. Reason: remove quote of previous post |

Offline | Have you seen any pictures of these wheels on a MINI? Might be worth checking this out as they don't appear to be cheap, according to the website. Either that or photoshop I guess. Not that I would know how to though! |

Offline | do you have a picture of your enkei wheels ? these wheel are tuv approved and tested to the same weight as the OZ ones, but im sure if you hit any pot hole fast enough most wheels will get damaged, my friend had a pair of OZ wheels and he said they were soft, and he didnt rate them, but when i had a set on my previous golf they were fine.... |

| MINI2 Master | to be honest i would stick with OZ super or ultralegras, its nice that the Enkeis save 1kg per corner, but when they look that ugly i'd rather take a bigger dump and stick with OZ's. also if they're good enough for the F1 boys and rally boys then they'd be good enough for me |
