Question Wheel opinion

Since I am having no luck finding R105s at a decent price, I'm looking around to see if I can find some nice (and also lightweight) dark coloured 18" wheels that will suit my brand new Pepper White (with black roof, mirrors and JCW b/k) MCS that is due in a few weeks. I'm having no luck so far, but tonight I stumbled across these which caught my eye. What do you think, reckon they'll suit?

Also how do dealers treat cars with aftermarket wheels? Will they void the TLC, warranty work etc, or are they pretty fair?

I dopubt you'd void the warranty...no way they'd get away with that..

...and you could always keep the standard wheels and swap them on if you wree really worried about it (though I'd never bother).

Personally I'd steer well clear of split rim wheels...nitemare to refurbish if you hit kerbs etc...and similar issues to refurbish if they corrode, though I am biased had a very bad experience with BMW split rims and after a chat to a mechanic I'd not go near them.

Personally not a fan of these at all.

If i were you i'd get either the TD Pro race 1.2's or the OZ Ultraleggs. Both available in 18" size, both available in black finish and both about the lightest wheel you can get, and neither is expensive.

Try looking at Rota wheels, lightweight, good designs, and not too bad pricewise. I'm thinking of their Subzeros in Gunmetal with Polished Lip.

Thanks for the feedback chaps - I think I'll stick with the flames for a bit until I find something suitable. No need to rush is there.

Hi Derek, heres the thread with the rims you were reffering to...they do look great but how many hours must he spend on them ..my wheels seem to need cleaning every other day

Note: if anyone is looking at this link, the wheels are further down the postings and not the crown spokes that are on the car in the first post.
