space saver

hi, can someone tell me what does one do when you dump the run flats, and put standard tyreson the car.in effect you have no spare, therefore stuck!.is there a "get you home space saver spare that can be used, i know that WV wheels fit the mini, and that the polo space saver is small enough to strap onto the back of the rear seat backs, please advise ,as i need a spare as i do motorway miles, and know that as soon as i have no spare, i will get a puncture for sure.
