Mini-Pirate to the rescue !

Afternoon fellow Dare-ites

I've been working away for a week & came back expecting the roll call to have gone up by a few, oh well, looks like quite a few owners have slipped the net.

Just before I went away & following Scotty's advice I got in touch with 'Vinyl Meister' Phil at
MINI PIRATE.com || 2007 || Mini Decals & Graphics for some new centre cap stickers. My old ones had gone a bit manky & were spoiling the look of the wheels. Just been outside to fit them (any excuse to clean the wheels as well ) what do you think ??

I'm well pleased & would like to thank Phil for coming up with exactly what I had in mind

Cheers all

Yes ,they look great.............the centre caps on mine are looking like your old ones, when I get my replacement mini I'll see about getting something like them done..

My problem is Im probably going to get a ONE convertible, any suggestions for a design for the centre cap .........do I just go with plain old "mini " ?

john - we can do anything you like mate. Just because you have a ONE doesn't mean you can't have a neat design - even with a carbon effect.

PM me if you want to chat about them.

Phil

I do have some pics when i recover them, ive deleted ALL PICS from the last few years so if i do get them recovered which im trying now ill post them up mate.

I dont get any problems at all mate and that with 18's and Eibach springs.

Hubcentric.... when you take the wheel off you have the hub in the center of the wheel that when you place the wheel on the it sits on there and that centers the wheel in place, my spacers are just 10mm peices of metal and they basically sit on that hub and cancle the hub out so there is no hub for the wheel to center on, in this case i cannot get the wheel 100% center and get a small shake through the stering wheel.

An hubcentric spacer has an extended hub on there so it can center it.

Not sure if ive explained that way tomuch there .
