is this setup ok?

I have et38 17" wheels. On monday im putting a 16mm spacer with them to fit my big brake kit.
Is et38 with 16mm spacer ok or will there be any problems?

et38 with a 16mm spacer will give you an effective offset of et22

I personally would not recommend that at all.

From the FAQ's:

Quote:
There are many choices in aftermarket wheels, ranging in diameters 15"-18", widths 6"-8" and offsets 35mm-50mm, ...

I run with an effective offset of et34 (et42 + 8mm Spacer) and get a bit of rubbing on my outer black archs. I know Graham (username GRSMotorsport) has an effective offset of et30 (et45 + 15mm spacer) and gets a lot of rubbing on his outer black archs. (we're both on eibach lowering springs)

With 22 I suspect when you hit a big bump you could rip the arch off, plus the wheels will stick outwards from the car to much.
