Falken 452 215/45 on a 17" rim are nice. Good tyre and I can't say they are noisier than anything else. Cheap too at around £60 in the UK per tyre.

Ive always stuck with the yokohamaparada spec 2 when changing tyres on my mini. Very impressed with the tyre. I got them for £55 each delivered for a 17 inch 205/40

Having used the Falken FK-451 and Yoko Parada Spec 2's, I'd say Yoko's easily.

Can't really comment on the Fk-452's but suspect thaey'll be similar in performance to the 451's.

its the same with classic minis, falkens or yokos

generally the yokos are the preferred tyre, my falkens didnt grip too well in the wet!

was interesting that day when i lost the wheelarch on my classic, thankfully the wing didnt hit the tree stump!

Yokohama A539's, brilliant tyre if your looking a 17 inch tyre. On my second set. Quite cheap, compared to michelins or prada 2's, and they give bags of grip in the wet and dry. Alot of people use them at track days.

The falken 512s are OK. Had them on my cooper the 451 and 452 are better. less noise than RFs for defo. I used to run yokos but found the increase in grip performnaxce minimal for the difference in price to a Falken... so falken it was. I just ordered a set of Nankang NS2s to get the car through the MOT...we shall see just how scary they are ::

Not one of your better days....

I've Yoko A539s on my Classic Mini and they are just superb - when I wear out the runflats on the Cooper this time round I am going to hopefully fit them to that as well.
