I'd choose Oz Ultraleggera wheels, or Team Dynamics prorace, Toyo R888 tyres (are semislick allowed?) or Bridgestone RE040 if semislicks are not allowed, and Bilstein PSS9 shocks. Is this useful?

I would agree with that.

OZ wheels are motorsport proven, strong, and light. Thats why I run Superleggeras myself. 16's would be a better idea than 17's.

Brakes. You can probably get away with uprating the OEM brakes as your car is light weight. so they will fit under 16" wheels. Dont forget front and rear brake ducting. If you dont use the OEM brakes, consider some R56 brakes (R53 JCW) or other kits that fit under 16" wheels.

Toyo R888 for semi-slicks. Are you allowed full slicks? Does it have to be road tyres? Goodyear Eagle GSD3 F1's are good in the dry and awesome in the wet. I'm running these myself at the moment.

Billstein PSS9's as they are fully adjustable and proven to take a beating. They are also easy to adjust on the car.

Rear adjustable swaybar. You can then change your handling characteristics if you find a car is understeering.oversteering. Shouldnt need a front bar, just dont go massive with the rear bar.

DOT approved tyre has to be used, so like the Toyo 888 / Yoko048s

Just been reading the rules. R888's are great, as long as there is no water on the surface. Otherwise they can be very scary. Didnt seem to stop Roland at Castle Combe in the wet, but I know Lucky Dave really doesnt like them in the wet.

Well, some people i know used R888s on track under rain just last week and told me they were good...better than re040s...

I agree on thesway bar, 22mm would be my choice, plus camber plates and rear adjustable control arms so you can work on camber both front and rear.

how is the car coming along ? you will have to use toyo tyres.supplied at cost.suspension wise i went for the bilsteine race spec.i went for the medium springs but for the best times in the dry the harder springs wiil give you the best times.
