United-Kingdom Rear Tyre Wear

I have a Cooper S with just over 30k miles and have noticed that both the rear tyres have worn down considerably on the inside shoulders (those closest to the exhaust) but still have a long way to go on the outside shoulders is this normal (due to the way the rear wheels lean in slightly) or does anybody have experience of this?

Thanks

Never experienced it on mine. Have the wheels ever been exchanged front to rear? If so, it might be historical damage from the front end toeing out....
