Falken 452 205/40/17

Hi Guys

I am looking to replace the runflats on the front of my MCS. I am thinking about the Falken 452 205/40/17 as a replacement as they seem to get good reviews and are reasonably priced. Can anyone on here vouch for their performance? and also, does the fact that they have a depth of 40 instead of the standard 45 of the runflats cause any problems? Does it cause any issues with the speedo being inaccurate? just so you know, i am keeping the runflats on the back for now..........

cheers

I ran 215/40 falken 452 and they were 3mph under the speedo. Therefore when speedo said 60 the GPS showed actual speed as 57. 205/45 will give you accurate (well as accurate as stock speedo can be) readings. 205/45/17 is stock tyre size so will be no need to adjust speedo reading.

I now run 215/45 nankangs and apart from being a bit less grippy they are pretty goods to
