Offline | Team Dynamics pro race 1.2 Running S types at the moment and considering moving to TD pro race 1.2. My insurance company is not bothered which wheels I fit but I am concious there is a greater chance of the TD's getting nicked given that the car is parked on the drive at night. Anyone had any problems with their wheels being of interest to the tea leaves? I am also interested in the difference in feel of the car after fitting TD (with non run flats) after having S spokes (weighing 3.5kgs more) with run flats. Cheers Carl |

Offline | Had a set of wheels stolen in the past which had locking nuts on. They can easily get them off. Modern alarms are also useless unless they have a tilt sensor. The police told me when my wheels were stolen that they now just put blocks just under the jacking points and let the tyres down. |

Offline | Thanks for the details on the locking nuts. The place I am buying the wheels from can supply some thatcham approved ones which he highly recommended. My mate took delivery of a brand new M3 and lost the wheels to theaves within 2 nights but I guess the manufacturers fit fairly easy bolts to get off as there must not be many combinations. There were only 20 different combinations on my porsche 993 so I never needed to supply the locking nut when the car went in for a service at the steeler. |

Offline | They look the muts nuts on your car. Going for the matt finish myself as I think it looks more stealthy! I need to spend some more money on the car as it looks lame compared to yours. Love the colour. Is it BMW carbon black? |
