I appoligize in advance if i posted this in the wrong section.

I have a rather odd request...If anyone out there has Pirelli Euphori@ 17 inch tires (tyres) and took delivery of their car at the end of June, can you tell me what the last 4 numbers of the DOT number on your tires are. For instance mine are 1102, which means they were manufactured the 11th week of 2002.

An odd question indeed, but I'll look anyway. Mine went into service in April, but does have your same tires.

Give me a little while, the car isn't close at the moment.

May I ask why one would be interested in when the tire was made?

Finally had a chance to get out and look...

DOT is: 0702

There has been a lot of changes to tyre regs

You can only sell tyres with "E" markings on

And also the Rubber starts to perish after 4 years, some insurance Co's have refused pay outs on the basis that tyres are too old ??? SO more of a case of BIG BROTHER that
anything else I guess

Though this is something to keep in mind, it's doesn't seem to apply to this case. Pirelli has only been making the Euphori@ only for short time. Far less then four years.

Anyway, I'll keep that in mind with my other car, which does have old rubber on it.
