Non-run Flats on standard rims???

I'd like to keep my stock white rims, but i hate the dunlop runflats as they totally ruin the feel of cornering, so can you put some standard low profile tires on these rims? Or are the stock rims run-flat specific? They are white 7 spoke fan alloys 16 inch. ta

There are plenty of posts on this, so it's worth doing a search.

You may want to consider whether your insurance covers you for this change. You might not think it would be an issue, but they might regard run-flats as part of the standard safety equipment of your car.

To my knowledge there is no such thing as a run flat rim (I could be wrong but I have yet to find one). Run Flat tires are designed to work on standard rims. So, you can put any tire on the rim.
