finally got some new wheels for my 2003 mini one

17inch team dynamics pro race 1.2 black et40

215/40r17 budget (for now)

glad i got these wheels, think they are best looking wheels for minis, and can see why they are fairly popular

They are nice and light aswell those wheels which will make a big difference.

i found the matt black hard to get hold of, they are the gloss black, in the future when i get them refurbed i may have them powdercoated matt black as i think they look slightly nicer, cheers

I agree on the finish - they look "harder" if they aren't shiny, but black without a silver rim is most of the way there.

Alternatively, just don't clean them and wait for the brake dust to build up.

lol yeh, just don't want any of the dust to stain etc, i find the gloss black looks better during the day than at night, as at night they look more shiney

yep, i agree.

good luck trying to keep your tyres as clean as your wheels

.(darker wheels sometimes look odd if the tyres are a lighter colour...)

how much did you end up paying for them?

still inside and all legal, no rubbing with 215/40 tyres so far, with 2 rear passengers

i paid a bargain price of £250 for them with some budget 'kingstar' tyres that i won't be keeping on for very long... only reason they will be staying on at all is that they have bags of tread lol

they were on ebay, 2nd hand but near mint condition, with only very minor curb scratches to the front near side - the most likely one to be curbed, the other 3 look brand new

i was very luck coming across them, as i was just about to pay £600 for a brand new set with kumho tyres, from billy boy tyres on ebay

no probs, very happy with them and really like the stealth look they give! can recomend them if your looking for some nice looking wheels with a racing background

also, i think et40 is perfect, gives a nice wide stance which looks great and should handle slightly better, hasn't rubbed yet either
