Hello.. newbie here.

I have just bought a set of secondhand 17" bullet alloys to replace the existing 15" rockets on my MINI One Convertible. The car has to go in for new brakes soon anyway so I'm thinking of getting the dealer to do the wheel swap as well.

My question is, are there actually any changes required to the setup of the car? Given that the overall diameter of wheel and tyre will be greater with the 17s fitted this will surely change the rotational speed of the wheel and affect the speedo calibration.

With regard to tyres, I'm thinking about removing the part worn Dunlop runflats that are on the new rims and replacing them with PZeros. I'm assuming that I can continue to use my MINI Mobility Kit with these.

The following shows the difference between stock 15" and 17" tire fitments:

A ±3% variation is OK.
