Just been searching on the forum threads to do with OEM alloys.

Recently purchased a second hand cooper with S Spokes, but want to change them to either bullets or R90s

Some people have said the PX them with mini garages, can this be done? Also how much are the bullets and R90s from dealers, without tyres?

Would go for replicas, but heard they are inferior compared to manufacturers.

Why not buy a good 2nd hand set of oem bullets or R90's, sell your s-spokes and yu should have money to refurb and put new tyres on the set you buy. That's what I've just done with a set of R95's and for half the price of new I have something even better :-)

I could be wrong, but my understanding r.e alloy wheel buy backs is that the dealer will only offer this on a new factory car if you are having dealer fit only alloys put on prior to delivery. (e.g JCW's)

Price wise I cant help you, but R90's from a dealer will be expensive!

A good second hand set, as already mentioned, would be your best bet.

Hi, I got my R90 wheel and tyre set for £1450 fitted. I was quoted £294 per wheel only, however they are now due to be changed due to corrosion

I'd stay away from the 2 piece R90's, not worth the price and are just as heavy as the S Spokes. Stick with the bullets
