GP Wheels!?

It's probably been asked loads of times before but can't find the threads...

Are the GP wheels 17 or 18? and what width?

Is Mini the only place to get them from? If so how many ££££?

How do the Worx ones compare?

Questions, questions, questions...

More whiiiine please!

havent heard anything bad about the replica ones but lots of people say they wont be as reliable/last as long etc but i think for the price they're a good deal and i might be getting some soon.

Never seen the worx ones in the flesh but I have been told that they don't compare, quality wise, when compared side by side with the genuine wheels.

Replicas are often called WORKX and can be found via e-bay as per this example 18" BMW Mini Black GP Style Alloy Wheels & Tyres (507) on eBay, also, Wheels with Tyres, Car Wheels, Tyres Trims, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 23-Mar-08 23:00:00 GMT)

Two things about the replicas
they are much more of a gloss finish than the genuine GP wheels
The outer rim is flat machined - does not have the slight step of the GP wheels. If you know the difference you can spot a replica wheel on any photograph as the shinny rim looks much bigger on the replicas

In Italy
