JCW Brakes with uprated discs (drilled and grooved) from MODNMINI

Last Saturday MODNMINI fitted my MCS with JCW brakes + grooved and drilled discs + 5.1 brake fluid + JCW race pads all round.

I’ve been thinking about upgrading my MCS brakes for sometime but I was not keen on fitting spacers required for most big brake kits hence the decision to go JCW + a strong recommendation from John at MODNMINI.

My brakes are still bedding in but I have noticed a marked improvement in stopping power over standard and more importantly improved peddle feel after initial application; there does seems to be a slightly softer pedal feel initially but this is quickly followed by a lot better bite and associated feel.

John and Neil at MODNMINI have been great to deal with and I’d highly recommend them

They look great and the I love the Pro Race 2's . I am a bit worried that the rears look tiny behind those wheels though.

Some people are like a Slinky ........ not really good for anything, but you still can't help
but smile when you shove them down the stairs

They do look a bit small compared to the fronts but that was always the case; just more so now

The backs have been colour coded red also

Thumbs up

Quick update, brakes are now bedded in and can be best described as spot on so much better than stock.

I've ordered JCW capliers and I'm planning to go for Tar-ox disks, and green stuff pads as they work out nearly the same price as JCW disks and pads.
