R53 JCW Brakes upgraded

I've bought JCW capliers for an R53 S and i'm looking to upgrade pads and discs having problems getting both.

Anyone have recommendations on upgraded pads and disks?

I am using R56 front pads - half the price and better. I am also using R56 drilled / grooved discs

Stopping power and feel is good

Mini or aftermarket?

Tarox are very expensive due to just comming out, £221 for the pair.

Thanks just checked them on 'Realoem.com'. Do you know the price of them?

Not sure as it is over 12 months ago that I did it. I think there is a thread started by me in the GP section with part numbers and prices.
I get up to 15% off with my local dealer sometimes other times I use Chris at Woodmans.

Woodmans have an offer on the R56 Sports brakes (in Group Buys) which use the same drilled / grooved discs and if I remember correctly they are circa £140 ish for the discs - check out the thread

No probs, we get 15% of well at 2 local dealership over here, which is good.

JCW caliper cames with pads, so I've ordered the 294mm cross drilled R56 discs and bought Mintex rear and pads with goodridge hoses.
