Thumbs up Wow

Thanks to Paul for taking me out in his Yokohama Parada 2 shod MCS tonight .

WOW . I never thought a MINI could go round corners that fast , and without any tyre squeal too . Just simply an amazing level of grip .

I couldn't hear any tyre noise at motorway speeds at all. If there was any, then it wasn't audible over the normal engine and wind noise we have from our cars. I think the Parada 2's will be the tyre I'll be choosing to replace my current tyres .

Thanks again Paul .

I heard the Parada2's are quite noisy. I have the 17" AVS ES100s and they are getting louder the more they wear. It looks like they've addressed that problem with their new S.drive line.

Hope you didn't have to change your underware when you got home!

The Yokohama Prada's have turned a great handling car into a fantastic handling car, I haven't got close to the limit of the tyres and there is so much feed back through the steering that I know exactly what is happening under the front wheels. I'll have to take the Mini to Bedford Autodrome to see if I can get close to the limit, it's not a safe thing to do on public roads. And I never thought an R56 could handle as well as ours, but I was wrong!

Glad to of been of some help Hyperactive,

P.

Cheers, dont think I could get away with 215/40/18 on JCW alloys with the car lowered, anyone else run 215/35/18? I know Damo does.
