Smile Help me choose some wheels

Hello, I've been lurking round these forums for quite a while and only registered a few weeks ago.

Anyway, I picked up an Indi blue Cooper with a black roof and 18" Works Replicas recently but I'm looking to change the wheels. I like the look of the 18" Works style wheels but I think there just too heavy for the car and the really low profile of the tyres makes the ride a bit harsh.

The Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2s seem to be very popular around here and have definitely taken my interest. However I just can't decide on what colour to get them in, I think I've only ever seen them in black on a MINI but my initial reaction to the black was that I just didn't think it looked right.

So what do you think would look right on this car, white, black, silver? I just can't decide.

Or what about other wheels? Quite like the OZ range but again I can't decide. I really like the look of the OEM R108 multi spoke wheels too, but from what I remember they're also quite heavy.

So any comments/suggestions are very welcome!

Seriously I'll have them off your hands if you like! If they are the ones in your pics then they are R90 replicas and are normally a 17" but you can get 18" versions too. Those are my favourate MINI wheels, I had a set on my old MINI. I understand the 18" works replicas to be the description for the GP replica wheels.

I would stay stick to silver wheels as white wouldn't look right and I agree that black is too much in my opinion. The OZ range is very favoured and looks brilliant. This gallery might help or hinder in your decision: http://www.mini2.com/galleries/showgallery.php/cat/586

Go for whatever wheels you want.

The TD 1.2's are very nice, always a good choice.

I have 18's myself and you have to know the roads you are on very well to avoid dangerous potholes. I have 18's and lowered so the ride is hard but not bad. Nothing changed because of the change either performance wise

Up to yourself but the TD 1.2s are nice but so are the OZ range.
Too many to choose from to be honest lol

I really like the look of the R90 replicas too, it's just that I feel like they really are too heavy. Trying out another Cooper with standard 16" wheels and it definitely feels a bit more nimble in getting going. Thanks for the advice.

I have never seen silver ones before on a Mini, could look well i think.

It took me about 3/4 months to decide on my wheels lol Definately worth it though, transforms the car!

search through the aftermarket wheel gallery to see if there are any silver ones there.

my mini's indi blue too! cheers!

and i dont know what kind of bidget you're looking at, but i'm keeping my stock 15" wheels until i can afford 18" hamann anniversary wheels, personally. and i wouldn't put silver wheels on my car, but you have silver bonnet stripes, so it could work well for you.

if you want big tires, go with 15" or 16", and pick a look you like. low-profile rubber, get 17" or 18" wheels.

White Pro Race 1.2's in my opinion!

Theres a car up here in Aberdeen in Indi Blue with the white 1.2's and it looks stunning! If not Pro Race 1.2's, get yourself some White 17" Speedline Corsos available through Lohen

Cheers

P.S sorry I don't have a picture of the car. I will try if I see it again

Thanks for the input, I've seen the Pro Races on your car over at New Mini Scotland, really suit it! I think I'd go for the white wheels if the car had a white roof and bonnet stripes but I don't think it would look right with a black roof and silver bonnet stripes.
Got my eye on a set of the OEM Multispokes, still heavy but I really like the look of them.
