I have bought some pads to fit to my MINI One as the wear inidicator is on. Do you I need to change the sensor to enable the light to switch off??

Thanks

yYs, new sensor required (Or sensor needs to be bypassed using old sensor wires) for warning light to be extinguished. Effectively the sensor is a wire loop which is broken when the pads wear to their minimum thickness. Ebay is usually a good source of replacements.

Bypass is cheaper and easier but then you will need to check your pads from time to time. If you let the pads wear down until they set off the sensor then it shows you need the sensor. So I would recommend a new sensor .

Some people are like a Slinky ........ not really good for anything, but you still can't help
but smile when you shove them down the stairs
