Help with wheels

OK so I just read the Wheel help guide which was a massive help.

I have found some wheels which are:

57.1 Center Bore (the guide said at least 56.1???)

ET20 (the guide said 35-52mm) Will this cause a massive problem or will they just slightly stick out?

Wheels:

17x7.5 ET 20, centre bore 57.1

Ok I'm no expert, although we do have some on here. In my opinion the wheels you have seen will stick out by at least 15mm than you would normally expect on a MINI. I would hazard a guess that you will end up with rubbing of the arches, which may or may not be solved by modifying the arch. I'd stick to the 35-52mm myself, as it doesn't seem to me as though it would work.

I'd also expect premature wheel bearing wear with that low of an offset

Yeah, exactly as I suspected. Oh well, thanks anyways for the reply's.

Would'nt want to to risk any of the above issues. Will have to try and get my hands on some BBS LM's with the right offset.
