Was in at my dealer's yesterday getting my weekly Mini fix and was asking about getting some new alloys fitted in about six months (damn that accessories configerator software - it's just making me want to spend more money )...

Anyway, he told me that the R87s aren't currently available and there are only 4 or 5 different designs that they can currently get. Bit different from the 9 in the accessories brochure i thought.

So, is this true? What's the deal - will they become available later or are they changing the designs or something?

Anyway, if anyone knows could they tell me? Thanks!

If you want to see a good many different wheels you should go to www.tirerack.com. You pick your car and color and it will show you the wheels they have for it. when you pick one the site changes the wheels so you can see what they will look like. Kind of neat.

Just bumping this...can't believe that no-one on here knows the answer to this....

I just love the look of the R87s and can't seem to find any other wheels that I like as much...apart maybe from the R86s but I'd rather stick with 15" rims...

If they're really not going to be available the does anyone know of any good UK alloy dealers where I might be able to get something similar...ideally either on the net or in the midlands.

not that i ask for much!
