| None runflats should not be a problem. Stay away from anyone saying its not possible and find a decent tyre shop.
Wear on the inside ...... I've had this. Could be various reasons:
1. camber needs adjusting
2. worn linkages around the steering and wheels?? I had what I think was a track rod end replaced. Not noticed inside edge wear since.
3. Modified suspension?
4. I even read somewhere that it was frequent and normal with some BMWs - though I'm a bit sceptical about that personally.
Generally the original mini wheels should be interchangable without issue - at least if sticking with the same generation of MINI. Especially going from a Cooper S to Cooper where you might even have more clearance in the wheelarches (e.g. with standard Cooper suspension) Mini: Drive and feel alive. |
