Canada Tire warning light after changning wheels

Hi,

I changed my 16" run-flats wheels to 18x8 wheels (rims + tires package) that arrived yesterday.
Today, on my way home, the tire warning light came on. Is there something wrong with my tires? Is the tire pressure too low? What is the normal tire pressure for 18x8?
Thanks in advance!

Did you reset the sensor after you had changed the wheels?

Tire pressure monitor (TPM) works off of the ABS sensor, which monitors the wheels rotational speed. A tyre with low pressure will turn faster and trigger the monitor light. You've just confused the TPM by swapping the wheels (the 18's will be rotating slower than the 16's). As Mike Clarke suggests re-set the TPM.

Am I right by saying that you should also reset it everytime you pump your tyres?
