Tyre Review

I'm sure quite a few people have seen the TyreReview site, but I was wondering if people would be willing to review the tyres they use on their One / Cooper / Cooper S / GP etc?

I'm not linked with the site at all, but think it would be a good idea and an easy place to see which tyres are recommended - there's so many topics about different tyres, it's difficult to see which are recommeneded etc.

Tyres For MINI reviews - tyre reviews, ratings and road tests for all car, bike and trackday performance tyres

OR, could MINI2 implement something similar on here? I know you can see how many use what tyre, but it doesn't really tell us if they're any good or not.

All the information is contained within the forums - you just have to look for it....

If you are considering a particular tyre, enter its name into the search box up the top. Someone is bound to have bought it, and told the rest of us what they thought.

For example, try typing in Goodyear gsd3, and click search

Yeah, but you've got to know what tyre you're searching for! If you're just after THE BEST (from people's first hand experience with the tyres), then it's a bit difficult, and you could be searching the forums for hours.

The Wheel & Tire Statistics are generated from entries in members Profiles, so it's actually up to the members to keep them up to date by making sure their Profiles are current

I only get involved when members don't include complete or properly formatted wheel or tire information in their Profile.

Cheers - I've seen the stats, but like I said, it doesn't really give you a review of them. For example, the MCS came with runflat tyres, but just because people have them, doesn't mean they like them. Just thought a central place to get people's opinions would be great.

Before a Wheels, Tyres & Brakes forum search is of any use, people need to use standardized titles on their posts:
Tyre_Review: tire name
This will allow a simple forum search for all reviews or those for a specific brand:
