Black crown spokes on a PW

Hi, this has probably been covered before, but I has anyone had their silver crown spokes repainted black or anthracite? I would like to see what they look like, especially on a R56 PW/B MCS. Mine have a few scuffs on them, and was contemplating this option.

I would like see them in the flesh if anybody has them, or has painted their own. Are they matt black, gloss black, or are they not black at all, but more of an anthracite?

I only want to do them once, so I need to be sure I get the colour that looks the best. Personallay I think gloss black might be a bit too black. What do people think?

Hmmm....interesting... I'd be interested doing that sometime in the future on my crown spokes as well. I have a Mellow Yellow 'S' Works with aero kit and black vipers - having the current crowns in black would probably look quite good and a cheaper option than getting new wheels when they start to deteriorate.
