| Another quick brake question I've had my 06 Mini for about a year. I had a back caliper bind and the back pads needed changed. I have used this board extensivley to make sure I changed them correctly (I've done LOTS of brake jobs, but this is my first on the Mini). The problem....squeaks. Along with kind of standard brake things, what I have done as suggested by this board. 1. Ceramic Pads 2. New rotors 3. treat rotors 4. Bed in brakes 5. Copper grease on pads Brakes squeak almost constantly over 70 MPH. Brakes squeak when applied for breif moment, then stop. The harder I am on them, the less they seam to squeak. Any advice for other ideas would be greatly appreciated. |
