Advise with choosing wheels

Hi, I currently have the S-Spoke 17" wheels on my MCS as you can see in the pic. I would love to get some JCW R109's but would like to know what your thoughts are? Or if you would recommend a different set?

The R109's are the same weight as the S-spoke and I would like to get lighter rims for handling etc. but having run flat tyres I know only certain rims will accept RF's

With this all in mind what are your thoughts?

Cheers

I've run 18" alloys before on my previous R53s and the ride can be quite hard. I have always reverted to 17" as i think they provide the best compromise.

The R109s are very nice alloys but as you have indicated, there is no weight saving from your current alloys.

I think the R113s are very nice but they don't come in all silver; they're either black or black with silver.

Alternatively you could always buy my R112s as i'm looking to buy a set of R113s for my R56 JCW.

None of the JCW wheels are particularly light, my old JCW R105 weighed 11kg's each!

I replaced the JCW R105's with a set of OZ Ultraleggera's shod with 215/35 R18" Toyo T1R's and the difference in the car is amazing as the OZ wheel's are 4kg lighter per wheel, so I saved 16kg in total in rotational mass. The car handles, accelerates and brakes better.

But the OZ wheels are expensive, about £1600 without tires? Lohen sell them.

A very good second choice would the Team Dynamic 1.2, white one's would look good on your car? Lohen also sell these.

P.
