I agree but next step is to get rid of the S spokes. there heavy. I was lucky, picked up a set of Team Dynamics with brand new Toyos £70 plus my S spokes in exchange !!

Try Apsley tyres in Hemel Hempstead. They patched a runflat for me when nobody else would even look at it. I was most concerned to find a screw through the middle of a 255/30/19 RE050 with just a few thousand miles on it because to replace a single one costs £300. They fixed it for a tenner including the unpleasant task of removing the contents of a can of tyreweld I had shoved in.

I just swapped out the runflats on my Clubman S for the same Kumo tire. Definately a change in the ride and handling. One other thing I noticed that was not so positive, I made a 260 mile run from Dallas to Houston, something I do every other week, and mileage dropped from a normal 32-34 mpg to 29. I did the trip with a 75 mph avg. speed per my GPS whereas I normally only average around 70-72 for the whole trip. I will be watching the next couple of trips to see if it heads back in the right direction. I didn't really buy the car for the mileage, but with these long trips, it is nice to save a buck now and then.

That could simply be fuel that makes that happen. Ethonol is in our fuel right now and milage suffers because of it.

Any suggestions for decent non-run flats which have stiff side walls? I want the better ride and handling of the non-run flats but still want to keep the quick turn in which run-flats provide...
