Another Tire Question please Presently I have 175/65 r15 on my 07 mini (non S) brand name contenental. They are worn out. Also my speed is showing 5 miles faster than what I am actually doing, so I was thinking of getting a taller tire to sync up the system. The local tire dealer said he would not advise putting a taller tire on because the newer cars transmission changes off the tire rotation and not vacuum, and I would burn up my trans. The tire I was looking at would have been about one quarter to one half inch taller. What do you guys think? Thanks in advance. Danny |
