LENSO 16" Alloys what do you think?

Good Summers Day Eve To You All!! How hot is England today..loving it!!

I currently have a dilema, I got really nice Alloys on my MCS 02 only I have managed to scrape all the rims, need of a good refurbish. The Tyres are worn. I need some new wheels ideally with tyre package, seems so much cheaper to buy wheels with tyres these days.

So would love the JCW R90`s just cant afford them, even the copies are big bucks.

Have you seen the Lenso BSX wheel? just like the class of the orginal BBS`s found in some hot Euro VW Golf`s! Always like that look.

I`m asking you guys what do you think? The only downfall- they come only as big as 16"
Would it look odd having 16" on a MINI?

I have though recently lowered it 30mm on Schnitzer Springs, so maybe look ok?

Nice! Those rims would look so nice on your MINI.
And I dont think it would look odd having 16's on a MINI, on the '09's you can purchase them with 16" rims or 17".
So I think you'd be fine with either.

As per Adam Randalls post, you need quite severe drop to get the euro look working on a MINI. Will post up some of the best euro style MINIs from MINI United later.

The MINI was optimised to run on 16" wheels, despite being offered with 15" as standard on the ONE/Cooper. As you will no doubt be aware 15", 16", 17", and 18" wheels have always been available as standard too. Biggest aftermarket wheelsthat I've seen fitted are 19" & 20". You just need to get the tyre profile correct. Having run 18" wheels on previous MINIs, I won't be going above 17" this time.

Thanks so much for your response! I really believe the MINI looks better with closer spoked wheels and the BBS look like the R90`s is spot on.

For completeness the red MCS with the gold wheels is on Rota MC rims, not BBS as they are badged. Dave at THINKMINI is currently offering some nice BBS replicas at a good price See his thread on totalmini.
