| Pads too close??? Hi, this could be a totally stupid questions but how close should the brake pads be to the discs? Had my discs my pads replaced all round last week at local garage as it failed MOT on corroded discs... Since then the car makes a grinding sound under acceleration (as though something is holding it back). Looking at the discs tonight the pads are pushed right up onto them, is this normal? To be honest I have not paid that much attention before... Anyone help please?  Michael  |
