| New Front Brake Pads The brake sensor lit 200 miles ago on my 54 plate R53 Cooper S. A have had a brief look and as far as I'm aware, it is the front pads that need replacing. I was wondering how much a dealer would charge to replace/fit new pads? However.... I am not that fond of the Mini standard brakes (not very good), and wouldn't mind choosing a different brand if they are better and no more expensive. The thing is however, I want pads that are suitable for road use, and don't require much warming up or make noises (as I know some of the aftermarket ones do!) Thanks.  |

| Why go to a dealer? They will charge you an arm and a leg to fit them. Find a MINI specialist for this. As for pads, the choice is up to you. I use Hawk HPS and love them but that is with a Power Slot rotor. |
