DIY Corroded brake pipe r50

Hi. Apparently my r50 brake pipes (not hoses) are corroded and need attention. What can I do? Is it worth changing the pipe? Are there alternatives to the bmw copper set? Its had new rear callipers, discs and pads but if I need to change pipe maybe I should do hoses too?
Or do I just rub the rust off ?

Any thoughts?

Simon

Cheers.
