I know this has probably been covered numerous times, but I need to get my winter wheels and tires sorted. There was a package on tirerack.com that I was interested in getting, but the wheels are now apparently sold out. What I want to know is where I can get some 15" steel wheels that will fit my Cooper. I want to get the Goodyear Ultra Grip Ice tires (185/65/15) to put on, but I'm worried they will sell out before I can find any wheels. Anyone who knows how I can get a hold of some good wheels to fit my cooper please let me know.

You should be able to order steel MINI wheels from your local MINI dealer. They are made for the Euro only MINI One.

I ordered US only driving light covers from my UK dealer and they arrived within a week.

I tried contacting my dealer, but they have been known to be very slow to respond, and very clueless when they do. If anyone knows of someplace that offers steel wheels for the Cooper I would love to hear about it.

See my post here these wheels and tires are available anywhere and should fit the Cooper as well as the S.

I spoke with TireRack last week about the steel wheels no longer being available and was told that the wheels originally ofered were found to have an incorrect offset and would rub against the ball joints at extreme steering angles. Replacement wheels are supposedly on order and are to be avilable in a couple of weeks.

I just ordered Borbet type B 15x 6.5 from Tire Rack & they are back ordered until Dec 7th.
185-65-15s Qs are what I'm putting on.
The wheels are $109 ea with lug nuts and centering rings included, seems to be a good deal & nice German wheels.
