Oh No! Metal in Tyre

I was pulling into car park today when I heard a tapping noise from rear wheel so I stopped and there was a piece of metal in the tyre sticking right out.
It came out easily and I drove home.
No indicator has come on and I havent lost pressure in the tyre as it only went a tiny way in but do you think I should replace it or not? I believe they cost around £200. Its the dunlop sp sport.

If it is holding pressure and did not go too deep beyond the tread depth it should be ok. If you are worried mark it then go to an good independent tyre dealer (not a big chain) and ask them to check it out if the position of metal entry is still obvious.
