Will it rub ?!

Hey guys

I am looking to fit a set of new alloys to my MINI Cooper. I am wanting to put a wider tyre on such as a 205/40/17 or a 215/40/17. The only thing I am worried about with the 215s is about any clearance issues ? I don't want to fit the tyres then realise they are rubbing against the inside of the arches. I am also lowering the car by 30mm

Cheers

Hi

I have 215/40/17 's on mine and they clear, but Depending on the offset of the wheel Package your going for it will depend. have a good read of the FAQ section it may help you
The offset and bore dimensions are the most important parts to take not of

What offset are you running on ? Was thinking about a 38 ? Then even considering fitting either 3mm or 5mm spacers
