2005 Mini Cooper - 16inch wheels - 195/55/16

I'm thinking of replacing my terrible runflat tyres with 195/55/16 Falken 912's.

Has anyone else made this change? Just wondering what, if any, changes you noticed to the ride quality, noise and grip in the wet.

Everything inside my car rattles at the moment with these runflats.

I cannot seem to get 912's anywhere... open to suggestions for a good cheap alternative.

I can get 914's though but not sure they'll be any good come the winter... ???

ok just spoke to a couple of tyre companies and the 912s are not being produced any more and most places have them on back order.

I'm getting some ZE 914's for each corner instead for the same price. :-)

I've received my Falken ZE 914 for all corners and the transformation is noticeable.

Very quiet at low speeds and a quieter at high speeds.
No more spine-breaking going over bumps. Awesome!
No more tram-lining.
A tad more roll but the car still has its perkiness when cornering.
Also seems a little faster off the mark too.

Just need the spacesaver tyre kit now.
