Hand brake help Please

Hey guys

Having brake issues on a MCS R53.

we could feel the car not pulling as good and being sluggish again so didn't think of it half way to Ace Café started a griding noise from the rear, when we got there we check it and the Drivers side pads had worn of so we got home took wheel off and the caliper had seized solid.

I have the John cooper works r56 brembo 4 pot kit so we had to fit that to the rear asap in the freezing cold and a hectic trip to 1320 Mini to get some bits to finish it off. followed the guide off here how to do the conversion and then break cables broke,

Now after my life story (sorry)

Can I fit R56 brake cables to the mini? so it fits properly into the calipers instead of modding them?

thanks Stephen

Well they look exactly the same on the parts diagram for the 53 and 56, the part numbers are different though but that might be down to the caliper fitting end.
