Which wheel is lighter?

I'm trying to decide on wheels for my "S" and wanted to know which wheel is lighter?

The R90 17" wheels or the standard R85 17" wheels?

Also anyone know if either one of them are forged or cast?

Hi, check the wheel and tyre FAQ's, it's all in there:

United States Male View EBMCS03's Electric Blue & White 1st Gen MINI Cooper S Profile
R85 S-spoke (aka LeMans, S-lite) ET50 25.1lb (11.4kg)

R90 cross-spoke (two-piece) ET48 24.1lb (10.95kg)

No sure if they are forged or cast.

The faq says they are 17" X 7" I thought the R85's were 17" X 7.5"

Get the R81 12lbs each!

Jason,

Check out EuropeanSpeed.com for a list of aftermarket wheel weights if you're going that route. As for the stock stuff, I like the 16" R90s or the 16" v-spokes for weight/looks.

Jeff (17" s-lites, which are anything but light!)
