R53 Cooper S Discs & Pads

Hi Guys
We have had an 03 Cooper S for some years now and it is approaching the 100k mark. Really happy with the car and it has been great, with my wife using daily.
We are looking at changing the Discs & Pads again and really wondered if people had a good recommendation or even tell us which to avoid.
I have had a look on here but cannot find too much, maybe not searching properly?
I see that if you put Discs & Pads into Google it comes up with ebay stuff and MTEC brakes but have no experience with these companies.
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
We will be fitting with a new set of braided hoses aswell, so it would be good to get a few discs and pads which give a little more bite.
Thanks for any help

MTEC brakes are ok if you drive like a granny, but i have found now that they are pretty useless if you give the car more abuse.
I don't recommend the combo, maybe will try other pads in the future, but i don't rate the quality of the discs very highly as they are cheaply made. You get what you pay for and these are pretty crap looking, especially if you get the drilled ones as the drill holes sometimes go through the vanes.
I don't like drilled discs anyway but they were sent in error. we only fitted as we were desperate at the time due to condition of old discs.
