United-Kingdom Paint Code for Mini Steel Wheels

Took advantage of the warm weather today and put my stock alloys back on replacing the Mini steels with winter tyres on.

I notice there's a couple of minor chips on the rims, and was wondering if anyone knew what would be a good match for the steel wheels?

Many thanks

Simplest is probably to go to the dealer as they should be able to supply a touch-up set (base and lacquer) though they can get a bit confused if they aren't the wheels that came on the car. I had to use my previous Mini's ID to get the touch-up for the second-hand Mini alloys I use for my winters.

If that kit contains a good match for Mini wheels, it will be excellent. I have used a very similar kit (same content, but different 'trade name' on the label) and the colour match wasn't great for Mini wheels - maybe this one is better, maybe not. And I don't know if Mini steel wheels are the same colour as the alloys.

However that kit is superb and allows scrapes up to 'moderate' to be filled and touched-up. The one and only thing it lacks is a small block to use as a sanding block - I use a short length of 6mm square wood.

Steel wheels are a different colour to the Alloys - a couple of shades darker I reckon

Hi ya sorry miss read you post

Go to your local auto paint supplier they will match and mix you up some touch up paint for them.
Or try halfords they can be quite good if you get someone decent they can match paint
