White alloys

Hi all,

I have an 02 plate Cooper S with I think 17 inch white alloys and I would like either to refurb or replace them. Can anyone advise me the best option with a guide to prices?

Many thanks

Yeah you can replace it.White alloys looks very awesome in Mini. Its not very expensive. You can buy it from specific BMW shops. So you can get the original one or you can buy it from wholesale automotive shops but get a better quality and long life.

You could take your white ones and have them refinished in the colour of your choice, it would probably be cheaper than buying new ones?
BMW garage charge me £80 a wheel for a full refurb and they come back just like brand new but no doubt there are some mobile companys who will come to your house and do them there for half that, but they dont tend to be quite as good a finish I found, at least the ones Ive looked at anyway.

Crap website and depends where are you but starting at £20 per wheel can't be bad.
City Powder Coaters Ltd. Birmingham. 0121 448 7646.

Just google alloy wheel refurbishing with you postcode and see what you find.

You either want the finish to be powder coated or 2 pack. To do a proper job the tyre needs to be removed and the finish needs to be ovened so it's durable.

I would pay something like £20-40 per rim for what is quite a simple design to refurbish and paint.
