205/55R17 Continental ContiPremiumContact 2 SSR RFT

205/55-17-Says these are OEM size, but I can't find this size listed as suitable for my R52 2005s convertible. Currently it has 205/50-17's; manual says 205/45-17's
Will these work or will they be constantly hitting the fenders?

205/55-17 is OEM size for the MINI Countryman. Way too big for your car.

For your R52, 205/45 (OEM), 215/45 and 215/40 are appropriate sizes for 17" wheels.

Thanks, Caveman. The po has 205/50's on there now, and it seems to be fine, but I'll replace with 205/45's when it's time

What is the best size 17" for a 2007? Does it matter if it is an S? It is not an S.
