Scotland Quote for front and rear brake pads and discs

Hi all, I need my front and rear brake pads and discs replacing. I've been quoted 650 for parts and labour. Seems extortionate to me? Thoughts? Cheers!

Depends whether you want Genuine MINI parts and carried out at a Main Dealer.

Independent garage labour using aftermarket parts will probably be around 350-400.....also depends on area, eg. London labour rates higher.

I would think for decent aftermarket stuff including sensors don't forget 500 ish

There are cheap parts out there too though, and people that will throw them in without cleaning anything up

If over 4 yrs old, maybe ask your main dealer if the value line is available for your car....
